About the event

Grounding is one of the most essential techniques for us, humans, to practice on a daily basis. Many of the mental and emotional struggles – i.e. flashbacks, unwanted memories, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression and even psychosis – can be diminished with a use of grounding.

This workshop focuses on grounding students within their physical bodies and balancing their mind in becoming coherent with their heart. When one feels safe, nourished, loved and grounded within their physical vessel, they have an easier time dealing with anything that comes on their path.

Sometimes both good and bad moments can shake a person and make them feel ungrounded. When one is ungrounded, they may experience restlessness, anxiety, panic attacks. These kinds of feelings may also result in taking undesired actions such as overeating, smoking, or taking substances. In its turn, practice of grounding can be used as a healthy coping strategy.
